the-unpopular-opinions: There are plenty of deaf and hard of hearing people in the world. Sign language is useful and it’s not that hard to learn. I believe it should be a course in school, elective or mandatory, I don’t care, just as long as it’s always available. ASL was my foreign language in high school and I’m so glad. people who speak another language can learn english. deaf people will never just learn to hear and speak.
